2 Days in Dubai
If you are visiting Dubai and have limited time, you must have to plan your trip according to your time. If you are going to Dubai for two days, you must divide and manage your time.
1st Day- Tour of Old Dubai and Desert Safari
- Jumeirah Mosque
Jumeirah Mosque is located in Jumeirah district on Jumeirah Beach Road. Here you can spend maximum three hours. Jumeirah Mosque is the only mosques in Dubai which is also open to non-Muslims. The Sheikh Muhammad Center for Cultural Understanding offers a mosque visit for everyone to understand religion, Islam.
This mosque has an impressive structure that once seen is never forgotten. It is known as the most photographic mosque in Dubai. This mosque is large enough to hold up to 1,200 worshippers. It was built from white stones, towering two minarets framing a large central dome. Photography is allowed in mosque, so don’t forget to bring your cameras. Visitors are asked to wear modest dress and to remove their shoes before entering the mosque.
- Dubai Museum
Dubai museum is located in Fahidi Fort and is the oldest building in Dubai. Here you can spend 3-5 hours including lunch. It was built in 1787, about 200 years ago. It was used as a prison for the criminals. This fort was repaired during the reign of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. It was opened in 1971 to be an official museum that displays the history of Dubai. In 1995, another underground museum was established and added to the old fort.
The visitors of Dubai Museum ‘Al Fahidi Fort’ have an opportunity to get full and integral knowledge of the very old history of Dubai. The museum consists of monument wings which display all antique monuments such as pottery, weapons, tombs, buildings and urban communities. The wing of Dubai between the past and present displays comprehensive examples reflecting the market atmosphere, vendors, shops and goods sold in that time.
Here you can spend 4-5 hours including dinner. When you book a Desert Safari trip in one of the travelling agencies in Dubai, the meet up time is usually around 4pm. Depending upon your agreement, the tour agency picks you up from your hotel.
Here you can enjoy dune bashing. Mostly Toyota Land Cruiser is use for dune bashing. Secure yourself in a Land Cruiser as a skilled instructor drives through dynamic dunes of desert, picking up speed to match your rising confidence. There is a variety of tours to satisfy even the most fearful adventure seeker. Choose from dune bashing trips, desert safari, and sand or snow ski adventures.
You can experience the desert Safari sunset, have BBQ dinner and watch belly dance at campsite.
2nd Day_ Tour of New Dubai
- Burj Khalifa
With 829.8 meter length and more than 160 stories, Burj Khalifa is currently the tallest building of the world. The observation is that the 124th floor is worth visiting as it gives a great view of city. This is a place where you can see the city of Dubai from the observation deck of the tallest building in the world. Around 5:30am at the top of Burj Khalifa, you can see the city while it’s still dark and observe the sunrise and see the city in day light. The sunrise viewing is only available every Friday and Saturday, otherwise regular viewing is at 8:00am.
At 456 meters above the ground, level 125 offers you a large deck to enjoy the stunning 360 degree view of the city. This level also houses one of our newest attractions, Dubai A Falcon’s eye view that allows you to explore the city from a unique perspective.
- Mall Hopping
Shopping Malls in Dubai are like a dream come true for all the attractive fashionistas around the world. These malls are not just shopping venues; they are complete entertainment destinations for your family with restaurants, movie theaters and theme parks. The Dubai Mall is known as the largest shopping complex in the world. You can have breakfast here or early lunch here. Explore various areas and check out the Dubai Dino, Human Waterfalls, Dubai Fountain, Dubai Aquarium and shops in the Fashion avenue.
- Dubai Mall Water Fountain Show
The Dubai Fountain is the world largest musical fountain and the city’s most popular free attraction. It is set on the Burj Khalifa Lake in Downtown Dubai between the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa. These fountains consist of 275 meter long central arc of jets that is joined to a small arc of 5 circles of jets. When the performance begins these jets shoots water sprays to height of up to 150 meters in harmony with music and 6000 powerful lights and 50 colors projectors. Performances are held daily and last up to 5 minutes. Evening shows begin at 6pm and are every half hour until 11pm.
